At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Gabrielle was located near latitude 35.3 North, longitude 49.4 West. A turn to the northeast with an increase in forward speed is expected to begin Monday morning, with a further increase in forward speed occurring through Monday night.
Maximum sustained winds are near 65 mph (100 km/h) with higher gusts. Some slight strengthening is possible through tonight. Gradual weakening is expected to begin Monday and Gabrielle is expected to transition to an extratropical low by Tuesday night.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km) from the center.
