Counties: Northern Broward County in southeastern Florida, Southeastern Palm Beach County in southeastern Florida,

Cities: Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach and Lighthouse Point Florida

Potential impacts: Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Suggested action(s): For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Miami. You can also share your report with NWS Miami on Facebook and Twitter. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Summary: At 514 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Coconut Creek, or over Margate, moving northeast at 10 mph.
