Rainfall will be ongoing for the panhandle from Wednesday to Wednesday night. In north central and central regions, light showers are beginning on Wednesday morning, but most of the activity will occur on Wednesday night into Thursday morning. During the overnight, moderate rain will become more widespread and extend from Tampa to Miami and last through early Thursday.  Although no severe weather is forecast, for some areas, especially near the Gulf, heavy downpours can be accompanied with isolated thunderstorms.
