Cold arctic air and strong winds will bring low wind chills to north and central Florida on Thursday and Friday. A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect Thursday evening to Friday morning for the panhandle to north central Florida. Areas near the coasts will also experience very cold conditions, a Freeze Warning has been issues for St. Johns county to Volusia and inland in Marian County. It extends as far south as Citrus to Monroe counties, inland, from Lake to Hendry county and even east coastal counties from Brevard to Dade counties. Coastal metro areas from Palm Beach to Miami are excluded from the Freeze Warning, although, Red Flag Warnings and Wind Chill Advisories persist for those areas on Thursday and Friday.
Clear skies will donate across the state on Thursday, but afternoon highs will only rise to the 40's and 50's. After sundown, temperatures will quickly fall and overnight lows are forecast to be in the 20's and 30's from the panhandle to south Florida.
