A weak area of low pressure in the eastern Gulf of Mexico will move across the peninsula Tuesday and Wednesday, keeping rain chances elevated and the risk for strong storms continuing through Wednesday.  The heaviest rain Tuesday will be in parts of central Florida, shifting a bit to south Florida by Wednesday.  Locally strong thunderstorms will be possible as well, especially in areas that heat up a bit more and near where the sea breezes interact.  A marginal risk of severe thunderstorms, including possible hail or wind damage, resides in northeastern sections of the state both Tuesday and Wednesday.  Conditions should calm down by Thursday as the disturbance passes to our east.
