After a relatively quiet weekend and start to the work week in many areas of the state, deeper tropical moisture will be surging in from the Gulf of Mexico and western Caribbean Tuesday and Wednesday.  A weak cold front approaching from the north (but never making it in) will induce a more dominant southwest wind and lead to widespread showers and thunderstorms across inland areas near and east of the I-75 corridor both afternoons, and all the way to the Atlantic beaches by the early evening hours.  Slightly cooler temperatures aloft will lead to a low chance a few of the thunderstorms may produce hail or damaging winds. The area of higher moisture content will linger through the end of the week, but drift a little more to the northwest and keep rain chances highest in the panhandle Thursday and Friday.
