After one of the soggiest first weeks of September in state history, the troublesome pattern will relax mid-week for most of the state. Many areas will stay dry until Friday afternoon, when an approaching frontal boundary again elevates rain chances.

Rain bands associated with a non-tropical area of low pressure have pulled north of the peninsula, with slightly drier air and higher pressure moving in behind it. Isolated afternoon seabreeze storms are still possible over inland areas and south of I-4,  but they will not be widespread. Highs are expected to be near average, in the upper 80s to near 90.
Thursday will be a similar setup, with slightly more sunshine and even warmer temperatures. Isolated sea breeze pulse storms will fire inland statewide, again with widest coverage in south Florida. Highs will near or top 90.
