A new tropical depression has developed in the western Atlantic, about half way between Bermuda and The Bahamas. The National Hurricane Center began issuing advisories on TD Eleven Sunday evening, stating it had winds of 35 mph and was moving northwest at 2 mph.

The forecast for TD Eleven is similar to many of the systems before it. Upper-level winds will likely keep it rather weak and disorganized.  The National Hurricane Center also stated it is possible the cyclone could dissipate entirely by Wednesday.  If it holds together, a weakness in the steering pattern should allow for a northward turn and it is highly unlikely TD Eleven will have much of an impact on Florida.  Some higher surf and long period ocean swells are possible along Florida's Atlantic coast through midweek, a larger byproduct of both this system and one over the Gulf of Mexico.
