Typical May Weather This Week in Florida

Sunny, warm days and clear, comfortable nights will be the theme this week in Florida. High pressure is centered over the Southeast U.S., and for the most part will continue to be in control through the weekend. Just enough moisture and instability may gather across portions of the state Thursday and Friday to trigger a few pop-up showers or thunderstorms. The highest chances for these will be across inland sections of north Florida and in the panhandle. Otherwise, mostly sunny skies with seasonably warm temperatures can be expected across Florida through Saturday.
