Hurricane Season isn’t over, and a new tropical storm may form this weekend in the western Caribbean. Pressures are expected to fall and environmental conditions may become favorable for development by the beginning of next week.  If it develops, the disturbance would become the fifteenth named tropical storm of the year and be named Otto.

The area of interest, Invest 90, has been meandering in the southwest Caribbean for the last five days.  The system is projected to continue to make itself at home there through the weekend.  Invest 90 is forecast to become a tropical depression or a named storm and eventually move west towards Central America.

Invest 90 poses no threat to Florida or the U.S.  The information below comes directly from the National Hurricane Center.
