There is a bit of a lull near #Clearwater, but a persistent heavy rain band has set up along I-75 from #Tampa to just east of #Sarasota. Another strong band is organizing closer to #Elsa's center just offshore south of #StPete, likely to rotate north into the metro after 2 am.
